On the back of what was a bumpy year for Real Estate, 2023 presented many hurdles especially when coming off the back of such large price increases in 2021 and 2022. Combined with the many interest rate increases throughout the year, this has certainly put pressure on prices generally, with increased days on market and more properties available for sale.
This past month has again indicated that the market is continuing to change and improve, while providing some direction and reassurance as to where the market is headed in 2024.
In December we saw some outstanding results with 76 Tingira Crescent, Kiama selling under the hammer for $1,850,000 by Claire Nunn. Nana Coburn negotiated a fantastic result of $1,625,000 for 13 Morrow Street, Gerringong. And a quick sale was achieved for 1/114 Belinda Street, Gerringong selling in 19 days by Angie Ritchie.
