April has been a busy month that has seen our region bustling with visitors and locals enjoying the spectacular weather we had over the Easter long weekend. Despite back to back public holidays, we have achieved combined 11 sales and 7 new listings in our three offices during the month.
Sales agents Terry Digger and Abbey Murphy recorded a new street record, selling 21 Millewa Avenue, Gerringong, for $1,960,000. Ryan Stalgis recorded a new residential land record of $2,666,000 with the sale of a 672m2 block at 27 Armstrong Avenue, Gerringong.
Over the weekend, Kiama came back to life after a long lockdown with a festival for the senses. Shops and restuarants spilled out onto the closed street to expand their space and occupancy, providing an on-street dining experience under magical festival lights. With live entertainment, DJ sets and an amazing car show, there truly was an immersive street festival experience. Although there is talk of an anticipated loss in momentum in the property market due to looming rate hikes and an imminent federal election, we are encouraging vendors to act now while conditions are still good. If you would like to learn more about your situation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind regards,
The team at First National Coast & Country
