Despite the covid restrictions the July market remained strong with a total of 42 properties sold in our service area as follows Kiama 21, Gerringong 11, Shoalhaven Heads 7, and Jamberoo 3.

A record sale price for Shoalhaven Heads at 84 River Road sold at Auction for $2,850,000 by Claire Nunn

With Greater Sydney still currently operating under lock down conditions we are seeing a decrease in buyer numbers attending inspections which would normally reflect in lower sales results. However, this could not be further from the fact, as we are experiencing an exact replication of last years lockdown, where the supply levels are down but the demand from buyers is on a continuous incline. The desire for property outside this Greater Sydney red zone has dramatically increased throughout the current lockdown, we are predicting yet again another surge in house prices on top of the 31.65% increase of the median house price currently recorded in the last 12 months.

As local residents and a local business, we try and support our community where we can. We understand that the COVID restrictions in Sydney and Greater Sydney continue to have a significant impact on our local businesses.
